Event raises over $450,000 to benefit children and families at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital

March 6, 2022 – Nearly 4,000 in-person participants hosted the Robins & Morton Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Tour from Broward to Miramar Regional Park, helping to raise over $450,000 to cover the cost of programs, services and facilities for children and families at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. The event has now generated more than $6 million to support pediatric health care over its 13-year history.

The community fundraiser, which took place virtually in 2021 due to COVID-19, is an annual celebration of health and fitness that included 50 and 100,000 bike rides, a 5,000 run, a 3,000 walk and the “Power of Play Kids Zone”.
