November 24, 2021 – Tom Hathaway, MPA, has been promoted to vice president of operations, Holy Cross Medical Group, a multi-specialty physician group employing more than 160 physicians providing services in Broward and Palm Beach counties.
In his new role, Hathaway is responsible for executing the medical group’s strategic growth initiatives, including patient access, network integrity, outpatient growth, improving practice operations and improving patient experience. He also oversees the directors of key service lines.
Hathaway was previously Executive Director of the Department of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at Holy Cross Health, where he was responsible for 20% surgical growth in a year affected by COVID-19, led efforts to centralize and accelerate office and clinical recruitment, resulting in one month of integration improvement of 30%. during the month and supported the Holy Cross Medical Group outpatient growth plan across Broward County.

Hathaway holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Fairfield University and a Masters of Public Administration with a specialization in Health Finance from the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and Healthcare Leaders in New York.
