Holy Cross Health Adds Two New Members To Board Of Directors

January 6, 2022 – Rudy Molinet, FACHE, CEO and Executive Coach at Artemis Synergies Consulting, a full-service consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, management development, executive coaching and corporate restructuring in the healthcare sector, and Nikki Austin Shipp, Founder and CEO of The NAS Advisory Group, LLC, which specializes in building relationships that add value to entities and individuals in governance, U.S. corporate and charitable affairs, has been appointed to the board of administration of Holy Cross Health.

A board-certified executive, professor, mentor and health leader, Molinet is also an assistant professor at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla., Where he teaches leadership and strategic planning courses and provides coaching. Executive at the College of Business, Executive Education programs. He started his career as a nurse in a Catholic hospital. Molinet is a first generation immigrant and refugee from Cuba with a passion for diversity, equity and inclusion. He has received numerous awards for his work in the community, including the “Voice of Equality Award” from Equality Florida, the state’s premier LGBTQ + civil rights organization. He is vice chairman of the Wilton Manors Planning and Zoning Board, has served as president of the Key West Rotary Club, and has served on numerous community boards.

“It is important for me to be part of an organization like Holy Cross that serves the community with such care and compassion,” said Molinet. “We have a diverse patient population here, and as a member of the LGBTQ community and healthcare executive, I bring a unique perspective. I remember when I was a young nurse in New York that it was the two Catholic hospitals that led the way in providing compassionate care to people living with AIDS and HIV. I see these same values ​​at Holy Cross Health. They match my values ​​and I am delighted to work with such an innovative management team.

Molinet resides in Wilton Manors, Florida with her husband Jeff Shearer. They have two grown sons, Ian and Aidan Shearer.

An accomplished business executive, TEDx speaker and philanthropist, Austin-Shipp most recently served as CEO of the South Florida Institute on Aging (SoFIA), becoming the first woman and first African-American in the organization’s 55-year history. Previously, she had a successful career in sales, advertising, and marketing with companies such as Infinity Broadcasting Radio Group, Dallas Morning News, Chick-fil-A, and Taco Bell Corporation. Active in the community, Austin-Shipp has also served on the board of directors of the American Tennis & Education Foundation and on the board of directors of Northwest Progresso Flagler Heights (CRA); is social president of Leadership Broward Class XL; is a life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she has held various executive positions during her last 29 years of membership; sits on the Fort Lauderdale Economic and Development Committee; and is a graduate of the Jim Moran Executive Leadership Institute class in Fort Lauderdale. She has also served nationally and locally with The Links, Incorporated.
