WHAT: The FoundCare team returns with its health fair for the start of the school year
- To kick off National Health Center Week, parents or guardians can register their children on-site between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. or can pre-register online.
- From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., school-aged children can receive hearing and vision screenings, school physical exams, vaccinations, and a backpack full of school supplies.
- FoundCare’s pediatric specialists and support team are ready to serve young patients in English, Spanish, Creole and French.

WHEN: Saturday August 6, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Closing of registrations at noon.
HOW MANY: Free
WHY: Every child deserves a healthy start to the new school year. It is one of FoundCare’s goals to give children and families the best chance for a healthy and successful year without financial strain. FoundCare accepts most insurance plans, Medicaid, Medicare, and self-pay on a sliding scale of fees based on household size and income.
