Federally Qualified Healthcare Center Appoints Marcia Young as Chief Operating Officer, Andy Antenor as Chief Financial Officer and Promotes Dr. Jean Monice to Chief Medical Officer

May 19, 2022 – FoundCare’s new CEO, Christopher Irizarry, has convened new leadership for the C-suite, including Marcia Young as chief operating officer of the organization and Andy Antenor as chief financial officer. FoundCare has also promoted longtime pediatrician Dr. Jean Monice to pediatric medical director at its Palm Springs center. The assembled team will continue to help the nonprofit organization provide accessible, top-notch health care to underserved communities in Palm Beach County.

FoundCare’s mission is to provide quality health care and social services for all individuals and families. It offers pediatric, adult, and geriatric primary care, chronic disease management, behavioral health services, dentistry, laboratory services, women’s health (including screening mammography), and an on-site pharmacy. FoundCare’s services are accessible through seven locations in Palm Beach County, with their Palm Springs center offering all services in one location. By providing quality healthcare to all individuals and families, FoundCare serves as a home of care for patients of all ages.

Andy Antenor

Young joins FoundCare with more than 30 years of experience working in ambulatory health care settings in private organizations, nonprofits, and federally licensed health centers. She received her Masters in Health Services Administration from Nova Southeastern University and has practiced her knowledge in physician relations, revenue cycle management, managed care contracts, and patient accreditation and registration. suppliers. Young will work closely with Irizarry, overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of FoundCare and its seven locations.

Jean Y. Monice, MD, PA

Antenor brings to FoundCare 16 years of experience in budgeting, accounting, financial reporting and auditing. Prior to this role, she earned an MBA in Finance and Management from Barry University and a Masters in Forensic Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. She has advanced knowledge in healthcare accounting and financial reporting in Federally Licensed Health Centers (FQHC) and is committed to cost-effective management of resources and quality performance. Antenor will be responsible for all aspects of the nonprofit’s financial operations while contributing to the organization’s future viability and ability to accomplish its mission.

Monice joined FoundCare in 2019, bringing with him over 40 years of experience as a board-certified pediatrician. He is a graduate of the Port-au-Prince program, Doctor of Medicine from Haiti, and completed his residency in pediatrics at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, New York. Monice has hospital affiliations with St. Mary’s Medical Center, Wellington Regional Medical Center, and JFK Medical Center. He is also fluent in English, French Creole and Spanish. As Pediatric Medical Director, Monice will be responsible for directing staff, services and programs related to pediatric care while driving continuous quality improvement.
