CHRISTUS Inpatient Rehabilitation is Highly Ranked

CHRISTUS Mother Frances Sulfur Springs Inpatient Rehabilitation Center was ranked #1 out of nearly 900 rehabilitation centers served by UDS (Uniform Data System). The Uniform Data System (UDS-PRO) is an annual reporting system that provides standardized information on the performance and operation of inpatient rehabilitation centers.

The performance of our inpatient rehabilitation center in terms of length of stay exceeds expectations for the region and the country in 21 different categories. Additionally, we continue to outpace the region and nation in terms of stroke length of stay. It’s no surprise as we are accredited as a Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center, which reflects our commitment to providing safe, quality patient care.

The high ranking of UDS was made possible through a collaborative effort of all of our various departments, from EMS to physiotherapy. We provide such high quality of care that the patient achieves their goals and transitions from the inpatient floor to inpatient rehabilitation at home efficiently. We are very proud of our teams!

Book a route to Ethiopia

We would like to ask the community to help us collect books to send to Ethiopia. Books can be used or new, for all age groups. Pejman Pirmoradi, one of our CHRISTUS pharmacists, recently traveled to Ethiopia on business and had the honor of meeting with the Ethiopian Minister for Women and Social Affairs. She told him about her goal to donate one million books for the Abrehot Library in the capital, so Pejman pledged to donate 100,000 books to the effort. We collect books here at the hospital. Enter at the main hospital entrance and someone at reception can show you where to leave them. You can contact pejman.pirmoradi@christushealth.org with any questions. If you would like to donate money, we have set up a fund through the Hopkins County Healthcare Foundation. You can write a check and allocate it to the “Ethiopian library”. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
