About child wearing:

Founded in 1996, Children’s Harbor is a nationally accredited non-profit agency whose mission is to provide shelter and support to at-risk children, youth and families, keeping siblings together, strengthening families and rebuilding lives.

Children’s Harbor offers nurturing family group homes for teens in the foster care system on a beautiful eight-acre campus in Pembroke Pines, Florida. These loving homes allow siblings and teenage mothers and their babies to stay together during a turbulent time in their young lives. Children’s Harbor also helps prevent child abuse through its Family Strengthening Program. Each year, 200 Broward County families receive in-home counseling to improve their parenting and communication skills.

Brown’s Harbor is the result of a collaborative partnership with the Selfless Love Foundation. Browns Harbor is a supportive housing community that offers on-site staff, training and comprehensive support services for young adults who have left the foster care system, ages 18-23, helping to bridge the gap between dependence and independence.
