CENTENE APPOINTS SARAH LONDON AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

March 22, 2022 — Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) today announced that Sarah London, Vice President of Centene, has been named Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, succeeding Michael Neidoff. Mr. Neidorff remains on previously announced sick leave from his position on the Company’s Board of Directors.

Ms. London has spent her career at the forefront of healthcare innovation. She has focused on promoting integrated, value-based models of care through the development and application of data-driven ideas and technologies.

Prior to her appointment as CEO, Ms. London served as Vice Chairman of Centene’s Board of Directors. In her leadership role, Ms. London led the company’s technology and digital strategy in addition to leading the Healthcare and Specialty Enterprises, Corporate Strategy, Quality Operations, Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Management divisions. Since Mr. Neidorff began sick leave in February 2022, she has been a member of the Office of the President responsible for leading the day-to-day management of the Company.
