Helps achieve emotional stability

The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) bridges the gap between hospital and community programs. It offers an alternative to hospitalization for people with mental illness who require more intensive treatment than outpatients, but less 24-hour hospital care.

We help patients achieve their wellness goals through individual treatment planning provided by a team of psychiatrists, social workers and nurses. The collaboration between our team of professionals, the patient and their family, and community resources, helps patients achieve their highest level of emotional stability and independent living.

Treatment focuses on group therapy activities and skill building. Patients learn to manage the emotions, distorted thought patterns, and belief systems that contribute to their emotional distress. Well-being and stress relief are also addressed. The goal is to reduce psychiatric symptoms to avoid hospitalization.
